My PC on my private network was not able to browse the internet until I
configured it's TCP with the IP address of the DNS server of my ISP. I should not have had to do this. I think something is wrong with my ICS gateway XP PC. The two PC's cannot ping or net view each other but they can transfer data fast via TTCP.EXE. Here is ipconfig /all from the ICS gateway PC. But you can start by removing IPV6, aka Teredo Tunneling. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/reading-ipconfig-and-diagnosing.html#IPV6> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...sing.html#IPV6 If any problems continue, provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each computer. Read this article, and linked articles, and follow instructions precisely: <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/05/troubleshooting-network-neighborhood.html#AskingForHelp> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/0...#AskingForHelp -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
