The network connection keeps disconnecting from the network after applying SP2.
We have a few laptops that have problems with a disconnecting network card.
The problem starts a month after applying SP2. I checked the autodisconnect
parameters, but found no problem there.

Any Suggestions?

If the problem didn't occur immediately after installing SP2, it has
nothing to do with that. First, check to make sure that power
management is turned off on the NIC's. Go to Device Manager and then to
the Properties of the NIC. On the Power Management tab, uncheck "Allow
Windows to turn off this device when not in use".

You may also want to think about what has changed recently. Are the
laptops virus/malware-free? Since they may be used in other locations
such as at the users' homes, be sure they are clean:

The problem occured after installing SP2
After a clean install everything went well until I installed SP2.
