We've got several XP Pros wired to a workgroup on a private IP address.
We're moving to a new ISP and going to wireless only for the Internet access. Does anyone know a tech doc on how to configure the PCs to access the server using one NIC and the Internet usinf the other (wireless) NIC? TIA, jwkh |

Move the LAN adapter to the top of the binding order - you can also give the
connection a lower metric. See: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d...server/reskit/ en-us/Default.asp?url=/resources/documentation/Windows/2000/server/reskit/en -us/cnet/cncd_win_mykc.asp and http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;894564 Doug Sherman MCSE, CMSA, MCP+I, MVP "jwkh" <jwkh@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:3CCB6AC0-6F21-46CD-83DD-EB22E037F14A@microsoft.com... > We've got several XP Pros wired to a workgroup on a private IP address. > We're moving to a new ISP and going to wireless only for the Internet access. > Does anyone know a tech doc on how to configure the PCs to access the server > using one NIC and the Internet usinf the other (wireless) NIC? > > TIA, > > jwkh > |
