I am running a "windows xp" PC with 2 network cards. 1 connecting to a
192.168 network and 1 connecting to a 10.232 network. Both have gateways which supply external intranets and internet, one of them thru a proxi server. All is well, except one of the gateways keeps clearing itself. If I do an IPCONFIG, it has gone, but it's still there in the settings. If I do a repair, it all fires up again and reappears in the IPCONFIG. Any kind soul who can help please? Thanks! MrPloppy |

Try: (It's from another person...see below.)
Move the LAN adapter to the top of the binding order - you can also give the connection a lower metric. See: http://www.microsoft.com/resources/d...server/reskit/ en-us/Default.asp?url=/resources/documentation/Windows/2000/server/reskit/en -us/cnet/cncd_win_mykc.asp and http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;894564 Doug Sherman MCSE, CMSA, MCP+I, MVP "andy@labrow.f9.co.uk" wrote: > I am running a "windows xp" PC with 2 network cards. 1 connecting to a > 192.168 network and 1 connecting to a 10.232 network.
