I have been attempting to network with my sons xbox 360 for 2 weeks now with
no luck. I've been in touch with xbox support no less than 6 times so if there is anyone who can help me please do. I have a windows xp based pc hooked up to a linksys befsr41 wired router and the 360 is also connected to this router. I've downloaded the nessesary software (Windows media coonect) but neither the pc or the xbox will recognize each other. the router settings have never been altered and i have emailed linksys and there response was that the router should not be the problem. I'm lost please help. Basic dialouge for a newb would be appreciated. |

There are two versions: Windows Media Connect and Windows Media Connect 2 -
maybe you downloaded and inslalled the wrong one. Try the Microsoft download site again and search for Windows Media connect 2 "brenda33" <brenda33@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:0D1B1743-502F-418B-9F1A-B86033375E79@microsoft.com... >I have been attempting to network with my sons xbox 360 for 2 weeks now >with > no luck.
