I can't get a VPN

Default I can't get a VPN

i managed to set up a VPN from a pc running xp pro connected to the internet
through DSL , To a pc running xp pro connected to the internet through a dial
up connection ... but i couldn't manage to do the same thing when wanted to
make VPN from the dial up to the DSL .. What should i do

Possibly a firewall (XP, third party, or router) is blocking incoming VPN.
In XP SP2 you can allow VPN connections on the firewall's Advanced tab -
Local Area Connection - Settings button.
