Hi,
I believe this to be a security issue for XP but can't be sure. I run 3 XP machines in a NT 4 domain. Two of them have been on the domain since just after XP was released and worked fine until SP 2. After XP 2, I couldn't get the machines to talk to each other. It was a while ago, but I think I got an answer that worked here. I added a third machine a while ago and just updated it to SP-2, and the problem is back. The third machine cannot talk to any other machine, and though the rest of the machines play well with each other, none of them can access the third. The third one did work (before SP-2). All machines except the Domain Server are XP Pro. All machines log into the domain at startup, and the newer machine reports no logon problems. Any help appreciated. David |
