Hi,
My problem is seems to be very typical, I am using broadband connection, ISP has given me static ip address. My problem is that I am unable to browse any website using IE explorer, but able to ping gateway, dns, & even yahoo ip. When I tried to ping yahoo.com get the messege unknown host name. I also try to use Netscape 6 but hopeless, somebody told me this is problem regarding the DNS, so I have to format & resinstall the os again .Is any other way to get rid off this problem to resolve the host name? Reagrds, Himanshu |

Make sure that you have your networking configured with the DNS IP addresses
provided by your ISP. -- Regards, Jerry M. Some viruses and malware are very good at keeping themselves from being
detected - even when scans are performed in safe mode. -- Regards, Jerry M. Gartner "Himanshu" <himanshus@hathway.net> wrote in message news:1135585078.229265.189590@g14g2000cwa.googlegr oups.com... > No I dnt have Virus/Malware. I already checked it!!!!!!!! > |
