Default Home networking

Hi! I need help, I have 4 xp machine all running win xp. 1 is a laptop 3 are
desktop. all of the machine is connected to the internet using internet
sharing. One machine is derectly connected to the internet. 3 Machine can not
connect to the internet without first turning on the host computer. Is there
any option that any machine can connect to the internet any time? At present
I got 1 ADSL modem which is derectly connected to the internet and a 100Mbps
ethernet switch that is attached to tthe 3 computers. thanks a lot and merry

Bing,

ICS is great for a cheap start, but it has its limitations, as you are finding
out. If your DSL modem has an Ethernet connection, get a NAT router for $40 or
so (less if on sale). If it has a USB connection, get a new modem, and get a
router.
