Ok here is my question. I have two computers with gigabit cards connected via
a crossover cable. On both computers they are connected through the fast ethernet connections to my cable router via the dlink router. What I want to do is use the nat of the router for both computers for browsing and this is already working that way. I want the computer to use the gigabit connection on the lan for transferring files or vnc'ing into each other. The vnc part probably takes care of itself as long as I use ip addressses. Ok the fast ethernet is on 192.168.0.100-105 lets say and the gigabit is 192.168.2.2-192.168.2.3. Sometimes I transfer files and it uses the gigabit but mostly it uses the fast ethernet and obviously I want the fastest way. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
