Two PC's, both running Win XP Home. Both plugged into a Linksys BEFSR41.
Both DHCP clients. Both access the Web fine. PC1 can ping PC2, but when PC2 tries to ping PC1, it times out. Any tips or suggestions? |

It could be XP's built-in firewall, or a firewall program from Norton, McAfee, ZoneAlarm, PC-cillin, Sygate, etc. Note that some recent antivirus programs have built-in firewall functions, too. -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
