Default Reached the Maximum Number of Connections Too Soon for a Shared Fo

Does anyone have the hot fixes?
Date Time Version Size File name
------------------------------------------------------
25-Feb-2003 15:29 5.1.2600.1174 400,896 Mrxsmb.sys
25-Feb-2003 15:29 5.1.2600.1174 154,880 Rdbss.sys
Microsoft will only let you have free access to these if you go through
their billing system! This is a major problem for us and we need the fix even
if only in Beta.

Thanks,

Only Microsoft can issue hotfixes which are free
if you specifically have a problem the hotfix resolves.

Microsoft does not support my system even though it is a new, high production
model pre-installed with Windows XP. They tell me to contact my hardware
vendor. If only THEY can issue the hotfix, how is the hardware vendor going
help!?

I'm using a split Access DB in a shared network folder with security. XP
can't handle over four users at a time. I need at least 14 users in the
system at the same time. XP is choking the other 10 users out.

Are you using XP Pro or Home? If it's Home then the behaviour is expected
and there is no workaround or hotfix. Even with Pro you will never reach
your 14 connections. Home is limited to 5 incoming connections. Pro is
limited to 10 incoming connections. The pc itself uses one connection.
Anything more than this and you need a different OS, Linux or Microsoft
Server.
