I have 2 pc's connected via a 4 port Speedtouch ADSL Router(Main and Second):
both can access Internet OK. I used the Wizard to set up network. I can ping each computer from the other and locally. I can access the Shareddocs folder on Second from both Main & Second. but cannot access Shareddocs folder on Main from either PC. This is the message \\main\shareddocs is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. Not enough server storage is available to process this command. I have checked the tcp/ip address's and set my firewall to give access. ( even tried with the firewall disabled) Any help would be appreciated. -- Eddie |

The problem is probably that an antivirus program has changed an obscure TCP/IP setting. Please see this Microsoft Knowledge Base article for a likely solution, specifying a value of 15 for IRPStackSize on the computer named Main: Antivirus Software May Cause Event ID 2011 http://support.microsoft.com/?scid=kb;en-us;177078 -- Best Wishes, Steve Winograd, MS-MVP (Windows Networking) Please post any reply as a follow-up message in the news group for everyone to see.
