Default sharing files between two computers

hi
i have 2 computers running on windows xp, i have a wireless network, i was
wondering if theres a way i can set the file sharing so i can share the whole
computer content without having to go to each folder and enable sharing files
because when i go to access them from the other computer it looks messy
i appreciate any help

go to my computer, right click C drive (or whatever) click sharing and
security

they don't recommend sharing the root drive, but you can do it there

Which folders wouldn't it let you share? What exactly did it tell
you?

By default, Windows XP blocks networked access to the Program Files
and Windows folders and to individual users' folders within Documents
and Settings.

You can share subfolders within those folders, e.g. you can share
"C:\Program Files\Outlook Express" or "C:\Documents and
Settings\Username\Desktop" and access that folder from another
computer on the network.

In Windows XP Professional (but not in Home Edition) you can disable
simple file sharing, which removes those sharing restrictions:

1. Open My Computer and click Tools | Folder Options | View.
2. Scroll to the end of the advanced settings.
3. Un-check "Use simple file sharing (recommended)".
