Our lab use shared disks off a Windows/Novell Netware Server with no
difficulties. I also have peer to peer disk sharing setup on specific Windows XP Pro PCs. Most of the machines have little to no delay, however certain PC have cronic problems with the link dropping and/or "no response". Is there a set technique for tuning the CIFS connection between to PCs? Or perhaps a troubleshooting list? Thanks for any thoughts. All PCs are on the same subnet and have no other networking delays (ie TCP/IP, HTTP....) -- Donald G Plugge System Manager NIH/NCI/EIB Flow Cytometry (301)435-6429 |
