I know this is going to be something that I've missed, but to save anymore
wasted time: I have recently set up a batch of XP Pro SP2 laptops, downloaded all of the updates via LAN, with no problems whatsoever - so IE is the latest version all of the hotfixes and patches up until 22/12/2005. I can dial up and connect to the server, retrieve emails but I'm unable to view any webpage whatsoever. There are no proxy settings within the dial up connection and as far as I can see everything is exactly the same as the W2000 laptops that I have beside me which work with no problems. Any ideas will be gratefully received. Paul |
