this is the message across the top My Network Places
Red X Office is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource . Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions. This list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available. Not sure if this is an upper or lower case problem as I put the name in upper case but it shows as lower case name on the network. Also is there a firewall issue here as well?? Appreciate anyones help. Thanks |

IPV6, apparently added by the wizard, is a problem frequently reported here. <http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/10/irregularities-in-workgroup-visibility.html> http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/2005/1...isibility.html -- Cheers, Chuck, MS-MVP [Windows - Networking] http://nitecruzr.blogspot.com/ Paranoia is not a problem, when it's a normal response from experience.
