Thanks for the responce.
The problem was that she was unable to modify any of the files in the SHARED DOCUMENTS folder. I fixed the problem by changing the SIMPLE FILE SHARING option under Explorer>Tool>Folder Options>View This made it so I could easily controll folder access by givning me a Win2000 administration view--something I am more familiare with. And to be sure....she didn't have full access to the files. Funny right? -wynn ------------ "Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE" wrote: > "wynn" <wynn@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message > news:C2C8C866-A17B-43EF-B749-BEF9D30E3D2B@microsoft.com > > My SHARED DOCUMENTS folder is showing as READ ONLY in the property > > settings. > > > > My wife and I are both administrators on the system, but have > > separate logins.
