I am running XP Home on my new Dell laptop. The battery
power meter does not show up in the taskbar. Although in the Control Panel -> Power Options -> Advanced , the checkbox "Always show icon on the taskbar" is always checked. Please help me out of this problem. Thanks |

But it will be a matter of expanding the taskbar to bring up the power meter icon. Click on it and the icon will probably stay visible for the duration of the session. |

Right click on the taskbar and select properties/taskbar/customize. Change
the behavior of the meter icon. "Mistoffolees" <mistyfac01@danang.rvn> wrote in message news:Owqp9WGzFHA.1032@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > > Ari wrote: >> I am running XP Home on my new Dell laptop.
