I have a new Simple Tech (Storage Synch) back up external hard drive. I keep
getting all kinds of error messages after any back up (either full or partial). Are these errors harmful? What do they do? It always tells me that such and such a file has errors and is unreadable. Then tells me to run CHKDSK, with I do, either from the C Drive or the SimpleTech drive. Also tells me to run the "/F" version. What is that? and what does it do? |
