I am using xp professional. I am up loading a large file to a 3rd party (1GB) and am leaving the system to run overnight (1min per MB). When I return the connection is broken. I have checked that the windows auto disconnect is not switched on and I have tested the link on smaller up loads and it worked fine. The isp allows a lot more than I am uploading even over a short period. My RAM is 256mb and the processor is 2.6 GH. Any ideas why the disconnect and what to do about it? The mail service I am using is Yousendit. -- balentinei -- balentinei |
