Ok I came home at lunch and did what you both told me to do. I went to the
control panel, system, device manager and then to network adapter, properties and then power management and unchecked the box. Then I went back to work. When I came home about 5 hours later I still had the same problem where my internet wouldn't come up. I had to log off and log on again. What is going on? Did I need to reboot my system for this change to have taken effect? It's really driving me nuts!!! Please help again if you wouldn't mind. Thanks! Karen |

Karen, please always reply to your original thread ("Timeout issue") and
never change the subject. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Security, Shell/User) Karen wrote: > Ok I came home at lunch and did what you both told me to do.
