Iam trying to set upsome new User accounts. When i try and open the accounts
it comesupwith an error box stating 'Windows cannot log you on because your profile cannot be loaded. Check that you are connected to the network, or that your network is functioning correctly. If this problem persists, contact your network administrator.' I am on a stand alone connected to the internet nothing else. I have set up accounts before without any problems. Any info on this problem would be appreciated fully. |

This is probably caused by Windows or third-party programs like printer
drivers or virus scanners that do not stop and release resources when you log off your computer. Try the User Profile Hive Cleanup Service called UPHClean. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...0-42470E2F3582 "Simon" <Simon@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:9D35F471-8055-48AB-A729-7EC72E1F1966@microsoft.com... > Iam trying to set upsome new User accounts. Mr.Akbar's suggestion is very good but if it doesn't help ,you may try
System Restore in your Windows XP. Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - System Restore Restore to a state 3 days before the problem appeard. Good luck !
