Forgive me with a different problem/issue.... not sure if this even the right
place to ask....

Using OE 6 and the system asked if I wanted to compact messages.... ooops, I
said yes, and now two important folders are empty.... How can I
retrieve/restore those many important e-mails?

tia,

PF

Is there any chance you turned off the computer before it was done?
Are there any DBT files in the OE store folder (the one with the DBX files)?
Note that these are hidden files and you will have to set Windows Explorer
to show hidden files and folders.

See http://www.oehelp.com/DBXpress/Default.aspx
