I can successfully scan using my desk top computer but my laptop will no
longer scan but it has in the past. It says it is not connected but I can print with the same connections so the machine works and is connected. I cannot find any reference to scanners in the help files in the HP 3030. CAROL |

Are the two computers networked? If not, just reinstall the printer on
the laptop.
