Default Grisoft - AVG

Is anyone else having problems updating the AVG software?
It tells me a new update is available, but when I try to download it, I get
error messages:
"The update sever connection failed - no additional information is available"
OR
"The request timed out and could not be completed - ....."
When I try to go to the website, the error message reads:
The connection was refused when attempting to contact www.grisoft.com

Anyone else?

The system/servers are bussy. Grisoft has increased its membership
tenfold in the last 6 months. Try at a more appropriate time like late
at night or real early in the morning.

I have had this problem a number of times. I'm not sure what the cause is. i
know it is a bit drastic but, if you are worried about the updates, you can
always do what i do, and re-install AVG. This usually solves the problem. I
know alot of people don't like the hassle, but, in my opinion, it is
quicker to re-install than risk your pc being exposed because of an update
problem. Just make sure you are disconnected from the internet before you
uninstall and then re-install.

Their servers are often busy. Just give it a few hours and try again.

The servers are, indeed, slow today. But it looks like
Grisoft has re-designed its website. And a new update
to AVG 7.1 is planned for release on October 24th.
