Yes. You can also buy Word separately. If you just need a word processor
and don't want to spend the money for Word, you can try OpenOffice
which is free. Get OO from www.openoffice.org.

Microsoft Office comes in a number of different editions, and each edition
includes a different set of components.

However, *all* of the editions include Word.

Listen to Malke, thats good advice.

Use OpenOffice, its free and you can import almost any Microsoft Office
document to it.

OR you can pay $200 or more, your choice dude!

If you are paying "$200 or more" and just want MS Word, you are paying to
much or at least your sources are asking way to much.

Except I hear that OpenOffice (OO) won't run the macros you can write for
Word and Excel because OpenOffice uses a different programming language. So
OO is probably not a smart choice in business where you need to use known
and supported scripts across many employee. Since home users seldom use
scripts, they are probably good to go with OO.
