Default suggested fax program

Just switched over to XP. Been using winfax pro 10.0 and so far it's locked
up the system twice. had to uninstall and reinstall each time. Ran fine on
my 98se systems.
After reading reviews, it's seems not advisable to use with xp.

Is there a "fix" or a better small program to use?

Version 10 is not compatible with XP. Did you upgrade to version 10.2?

Use the built in XP Fax Console. You just need to activate it.

Ted,

Are you saying that version 10.2 works fine with XP?

Yes, I know what it is. I was inquiring if it works well with Win XP.

It appears I'm running 10.0.
This is what I get when I go to About Msg Manager.
Winfax Pro 10.0 (2000.02.14)
I've tried liveupdate and have gone to sym. web site.
The only thing I get is Spell Check Dict.
