Hi,
I have a dell computer with windows xp home with service pack 2 on it. I noticed in windows explorer that there is a local disk C:\ and local disk f:\. There are 2 cd-rom called D: an E:. I was wondering if I could combine C:\local disk and local disk f: ? Remember that dell gives a xp cd-rom for dell's xp. The drivers are on another disk. Thanks in advance. Thanks in advance. |

Hi,
No, you can't combine them without using a third party program. Also, OEM's like Dell often have recovery tools on a small partition, so it is best left alone. -- Best of Luck, Rick Rogers, aka "Nutcase" - Microsoft MVP http://mvp.support.microsoft.com/ Associate Expert - WindowsXP Expert Zone www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone Windows help - www.rickrogers.org "zubzero" <zubzero@msn.com> wrote in message news:sie9m11ca8ftbe7r3b8okc5ptu9hgdv7d2@4ax.com... > Hi, > I have a dell computer with windows xp home with service pack 2 on > it. > I noticed in windows explorer that there is a local disk C:\ and > local disk f:\. > There are 2 cd-rom called D: an E:. > I was wondering if I could combine C:\local disk and local disk f: ? > Remember that dell gives a xp cd-rom for dell's xp. > The drivers are on another disk. > Thanks in advance. > Thanks in advance. |
