I see following warning from Event Viewer:
"Could not set the keyboard typematic rate and delay." I have no idea what this means. I am currently using Microsoft wireless optical mouse 2.0 with Microsoft Wireless Comfort keyboard 1.0A. Please suggest me how to fix this error. TIA. Craig |

Read the instructions/read file that came with your keyboard.

Manual and online help files do not have a trace of this typematic related

Hi, Craig.
Go to Control Panel | Keyboard. Depending on which hardware and software you have installed, you should see several tabs that let you control your keyboard actions and settings. Many computers also have settings in the BIOS for the typematic rate and delay, so you might want to press <Del> (or whatever key works for YOUR computer) right after you power-on to see what you can find there.
