Default User switching

I have two users on my laptop, my wife and me. Is there any way to switch
from one user to another without powering down and re-booting?

Peter.

..

Go to control panel>user accounts>change the way users log on and off>enable
fast user switch.
Then you can click start> log off> then you will be presented with a choice
of Log Off or switch user. If you just switch user, you will remain logged
on which can slow the computer down. It's best to log off, then switch
user. Either way, you don't need to power down.
what brand?

or this keyboard shortcut.
hit the key that has the windows logo and the L key.
