not really a 'new user', but do need 'layman's-type' help.
when burning audio cds, the program usually freezes the computer. i figured i should probably reinstall the program. i went to 'add/remove programs and selected 'windows media player' under 'service pack 2 updates' in the list. i was informed that a rollback was necessary, so i allowed it, and was then advised a restart was necessary in order for the changes to take effect. when i restarted, media player was no longer on the programs list in 'add/remove programs', and when i tried to open media player,it was still series 10 [i had presumed 'rollback' meant series 9 would be there instead], and i received this: an internal application error has occurred'. what would be my next step, as i cannot even access the program?? thank you in advance--you folks have been of immense assistance when i've posted regarding previous problems... allyson |
