In outlook express inbox to the left of subject box extreme left column
there appears a red symbol to left of a message. What does it indicate and
how do you remove it?.

If this is simply the Flagged Message icon, just click (left-click) the icon
and it should go away.

Don thanks for your reply. Single left click does nothing, double left click
just opens message, does not delete.
