Hi,
I just received my new laptop. An Insprion 6000 (Dell). I'm running Windows XP Pro. I've done something because this just started happening. Whenever I close or minimize a program window, the system does not default back to my desktop. I'm left with the typical blue screen, with my programs minimized on the taskbar. I have to physically use my Quick Launch icon to get the desktop back and it will stay until I open another program. I've tried everything in the display properties and nothing is helping. When I right click on the taskbar, the option, 'show desktop' and 'show open windows' just flips back and forth depending what's open. Any suggestions, this is driving me nuts. Thanks, -- Thanks for you help, C. |

Thanks, There are several different blue screens. All describe the error and we need that information. Or, since it's a new laptop you can contact Dell. -- Frank Saunders, MS-MVP OE Please respond in Newsgroup only.
