Hi,
I just received my new laptop. An Insprion 6000 (Dell). I'm running
Windows XP Pro. I've done something because this just started happening.
Whenever I close or minimize a program window, the system does not default
back to my desktop. I'm left with the typical blue screen, with my programs
minimized on the taskbar. I have to physically use my Quick Launch icon to
get the desktop back and it will stay until I open another program. I've
tried everything in the display properties and nothing is helping. When I
right click on the taskbar, the option, 'show desktop' and 'show open
windows' just flips back and forth depending what's open. Any suggestions,
this is driving me nuts. Thanks,

There are several different blue screens. All describe the error and we
need that information.

Or, since it's a new laptop you can contact Dell.
