Having reinstalled XP Pro, all my software and Outlook addresses successfully
I am left with importing my Favourites. I have the info on DVD and attempted to import the data but I can't figure out how to make this happen. Help please anyone? |

Assuming you saved them via IE File > Import and Export > Export Favorites,
copy the back-up to your hard-drive (suggest to Desktop, for convenience), remove the Read Only attribute it will most likely have, and then use File > Import and Export > Import Favourites to import it, pointing the wizard to the file on Desktop. -- ~Robear Dyer (PA Bear) MS MVP-Windows (IE/OE, Security, Shell/User) kernow wrote: > Having reinstalled XP Pro, all my software and Outlook addresses > successfully I am left with importing my Favourites. If you didn't Export them, then you cannot Import them.
In that case, copy the contents of the old Favorites folder to the new Favorites folder. ....Alan -- Alan Edwards, MS MVP Windows - Internet Explorer http://dts-l.org/index.html On Sat, 3 Dec 2005 13:33:01 -0800, kernow <kernow@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote: >Having reinstalled XP Pro, all my software and Outlook addresses successfully >I am left with importing my Favourites.
