Right click on the Desktop and select "Arrange Icons by"
Make sure "Lock Items on Desktop" is not checked. As for the size of the icons - are you both running the same Screen resolution ? Right click on the desktop, select Properties. Select settings: Are your screen resolutions the same? -- =========================== TaurArian [MS-MVP] 2005-2006 =========================== "seanpaul99" <seanpaul99@discussions.microsoft.com> wrote in message news:140BE4A7-B261-4F19-B590-4495703A0242@microsoft.com... >i have recently installed a second computer for my son. the desktop icons are > larger than on my own system and i cannot move the icons as i can i my > system. both systems run xp home sp2. any suggestions on how to correct this > problem would be appreciated. > -- > seanpaul99 |
