Default Unable to use Microsoft Outlook


I'm using a Dell 4700C, Windows XP Professional, Internet Explorer 6.0.

I am unable to send or receive mail in Microsoft Outlook.

Please do not post more than one message about the same subject only a
few minutes apart. Be patient. These groups propagate to newsservers
all over the world and people are in different time zones and also,
some of us may have lives.

You have not provided enough information for anyone to give you focused
help. Normally to set up email in Outlook you would follow the new
account wizard, using the POP3 and SMTP server settings you get from
your Internet Service Provider. Most ISP's have a FAQ (Frequently Asked
Questions) area on their websites detailing how to set up common email
programs.

If this doesn't help, then first go to this link to see how to make a

Then post your question in an Outlook newsgroup:
microsoft.public.outlook.general
