I have a laptop computer running Win XP Pro (SP2), I regularly connect to my
company's network and have noticed that many security options have now been 'greyed out' ie I can not change then, just an example is the minimum password length. How can I regain control of my computer or undo what has been done? ) |

Yes I was connected to a domain, I no longer work for this company and wish
to get control back. "Malke" <notreally@invalid.com> wrote in message news:%23gRrbtr$FHA.2708@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > > I'm assuming that you are connecting to a domain at your company. The > security policies are set by the domain administrator - your IT Dept. > Talk to them. > > Malke |

Now you're saying it is a home laptop with a domain account? This is why giving a good, clear description of your computer and any problems in the first post is a good idea. Log in locally and make sure things are the way you like them in your local accounts. If they are, then delete the domain accounts.
