This is a new feature added as part of SP2 where updates are not shown by default but can be made viewable by checking that setting. -- Tom Porterfield MS-MVP Windows http://support.telop.org Please post all follow-ups to the newsgroup only. |

If there were no problems with the hotfixes prior to SP2, then there would not be any after updating to SP2 and uninstalling any of them, in the SP2's programmer's mind, is unnecessary. |

For a fairly complete list of what's on your computer, you can download and
install Belarc Advisor. It's show all updates/hotfixes, as well as just about everything on your computer. http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html "Ghostrider" <-00-@fitron.142> wrote in message news:O4BIjGPAGHA.504@TK2MSFTNGP12.phx.gbl... > > Jane wrote: > >> I downloaded sp2 a few weeks ago and it shows in the controll panel, but >> the updates don't show up, when I had sp1 they showed as hotfixes, how >> can I unintall them if they cause problems if they don't show in the >> panel? and why don't they show ? thanks, Joyce > > Individual hotfixes that were installed prior to SP2 are removed > from the Add/Remove applet since they are now incorporated as part > of SP2.
