Default norton repair.


when i turned pc on today,
a error poped up saying norton
dosent have repair ,uninstall,then
reinstall?? is this a hacker trick,,
ihave never seen this before,,,

Go in the Norton programs and turn off ALL the options to have them
start at reboot (except you AV software if you want it always on).
Better yet get rid of them! You don't need that useless crap running
for nothing on your pc, more often than not they cause more harm than good.

Reinstall your Norton.If you have problems with its removing ,use Symantec
Norton Removal Tool

The only "useless crap" is your post. OP must have AV and firewall
protection on his/her computer.

If you can't post anything useful, don't post at all.

Did you even think about what you were posting, or are you not capable of

Maybe you should read the posts twice before you reply. I explicitly
told the user of the Antivirus exception. And where does my post
suggest that the original poster turn off his firewall? What does the
firewall have to do with his problem and where does that come from?

I followed the directions at this location and it worked for me.

If you don't have those folders, you get the error message. Good luck!
