Default Sleep mode

Can anyone help me remember the keyboard shortcut to put my monitor in
suspend mode? Thanks!

Is this on a laptop? The shortcut will vary from laptop to laptop. Refer
to your laptop user's manual or go to the laptop mftr.'s website and
look up the information for your specific model machine.

No, this is a desktop. I thought it was something like Ctrl-Alt-S or
something like that. Maybe it's not sleep mode that I'm trying to describe --
it's back to the blue login screen that I mean. Thanks for your help!

I'm sorry, but it is not clear to me what you are trying to do. Use XP's
Help & Support and search for keyboard shortcuts, power management, and
the like.

Thanks anyway Malke. I'm probably not making myself clear. I remember there
being a shortcut keystroke that while at my desktop I could go back to the
blue Windows login screen -- something basic like Ctrl-S or something. I've
checked XP's help, but I'll look again, or maybe someone else out there knows
what I'm trying to do! Thanks again for your help -- appreciate it.
