Default unable to auto select subtotal

In Pivot Table, when we select the subtotal, it should autoselect all
existing subtotals but not for my excel 2003. However, when company IT
Support run the safe mode of excel, it works.

If Pivot Table is third-party software, then contact their tech support
for help with their program. If it is part of MS Excel, post your
question in a group for Excel. Here is a list of all the MS newsgroups:

Solution obtained as
>>You may have to enable selection -- from the Pivot toolbar, choose

PivotTable>Select, and click on Enable Selection from the mentioned website.
