Dont know what I did!! Icons used to be on a desktop pic. Now the icons are
on a white background! Here is the kicker......My original desktop pic is
behind this white window! Icons work fine but I want my icons back on the
original desktop picture. Anybody got any ideas??

Windows XP and Windows Me has System Restore .
It is a special function that allows you to return back all your stuff and
settings.
It is enabled by default.

In XP

Start- Programs-Accessories-System Tools -System Restore

Restore your system to a state 3 days before the problem started .

If you want more info about System Restore open XP's Help and Support Center
Start - Help and Support - type: System Restore

If you have any other questions ,do not hesitate to contact the community

Go to the Display applet in Control Panel and look on the Desktop tab.
Click on Customize Desktop, and then click on the Web tab. You will see
that there are checkmarks next to "My Current Home Page" and probably
"Lock Desktop Items". Uncheck these.
