Default Period key

XP Pro, SP2. I did a reinstall of the OS.

Num Lock is on. Press the period (Del) key, and two periods appear..
Like this.

How can I fix this?

Also in the past, pressing the period key in some programs added a CR.

Thanks.

Your "example" shows one period.
"Like this."

I personally would replace the keyboard before blaming the OS. =)

I found the problem. It was AllChars, which happened to be loaded twice.
