Default Access denied

I have just installed a new hard disk and used the previous disk as a
slave. The previous disk had crashed and had to be rescued. All the
programs and documents remain, but when I click on my own documents
folder I get a message telling me access is denied. How do I get round
this please?

Hi

Please see if the following helps:

"How to take ownership of a file or folder in Windows XP"
http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;308421

Where the files encrypted?
