I'm a living testimony: too old to really want to change from W 98 (which I love), I finally adapted my PC for dual boot: Win 98 and Win XP. That way, at least, I had not given up Win 98. Once I started using XP, I found that what I feared most was the fear of changing over. Recently, I had reason to totally wipe my HD's, and installed Win XP only. Now, I don't miss Win 98 anymore. My advice: give it a chance. John <>< |

Steve;
Return it directly to the store where purchased. Or if you live in North America and it is retail, NOT OEM: http://www.microsoft.com/info/nareturns.htm -- Jupiter Jones [MVP] http://www3.telus.net/dandemar http://www.dts-l.org "stevek" <someone@somewhere.org> wrote in message news:_RGsf.371085$zb5.300059@bgtnsc04-news.ops.worldnet.att.net... > Can one return this "(#*#&#--@)" better known as Windows XP home edition > back to its wonderful creator for a refund? > > Thanks |
