Default startup programs

my problem is that i took some programs out of the startup menu using
msconfig but i need to put two programs back. I thought i could go back into
the startup menu and tick them but they have gone! I have been into the
programs themselves but there is no facility to place them back into the
startup. Any ideas

thanks for any help

Try a System Restore to before you removed the startup entries.
Start>Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore
"Restore my computer to an earlier time"

Will and Malke have both given you good suggestions. I'll add a third
alternative: put a shortcut toeach of them in the folder

C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
