I installed the Plus! Aquarium screensaver. It shows a tank of swimming
fish and also has the option to produce a bubbling sound., which I turned on. The computer is set to go on standby after a longer interval, so if left unattended, the screensaver comes on in about five minutes, and the monitor and hard drive goes into standby after fifteen minutes. Once in standby, the screen then goes blank. But the bubbling sound continues. I'm guessing that the screensaver is in RAM, so the process doesn't require the use of the hard drive nor the monitor. Is that what's going on? -- PT |
