This is a tricky one that many have tried to answer so - over to the
experts out there.
Not sure when it occured, but I have not been able to access any of
help files for any of the programs - MS Office/XP Help or third party
etc on my machine. Any time I try to go to a help menu all I get is a
blank box! Have cleaned the registry, defraged etc etc but to no
avail.

Help would be greatly appreciated.

What happens when you open Explorer and go to \windows\help and click on one
of the help files?

In Control Panel > Folder Options > View what program is associated with the
..HLP files?

When I click on one the help files i get "Cannot open the file" . Also
in the Control Panel>Folder Options it states that the Hlp files "Opens
with Windows Winhlp 32 Stub"

Any ideas?
