I tried to download a trial copy of OneNote.
As part of the process, MS validated my copy of XP, or didn't in my case. I have an IBM thinkpad with OEM XP Pro installation and product key on the case. I have spent the last two hours trying to figure out how to fix this problem and more importantly find a way to contact MS, and surprise, surprise, can't because this isn't a legal copy. There has got to be a straightforward way to revalidate this installation with the product key so I can get on with things. |

Windows Genuine Advantage (WGA) validation check process does not complete when you try to validate your copy of Windows XP or Windows 2000 Professional - http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;905226 Please use the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of Microsoft Download Center pages to request assistance directly from Microsoft - http://support.microsoft.com/gp/ContactDownloads Malke -- Elephant Boy Computers www.elephantboycomputers.com "Don't Panic!" Try contacting IBM. It is their problem because they provided the Windows XP and the product key. Good luck Ron Martell Duncan B.C.
